Info: Melaka Maju 2010

Melaka will be declared as a Develop State in Malaysia on 20.10.2010. The Status is not from Melaka Itself but will be given by OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development ). OECD is a International Organization located in Paris.

The move to make Melaka a develop State started 10 years ago by Melaka Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Hj. Mohd. Ali bin Mohd. Rustam. Now until this October, Melaka are on the right track with 32 indicator give by OECD, Melaka already achieve 29 Indicator.

The score for Melaka now is 90.6% where Tourism Sector is most high in rank with 8.9 million tourist visit to Melaka.

After the declaration as a develop state, Melaka will move into Green Technology and hope to bring a higher income to the Melaccans.

All these would not have been possiable if not for our Chief Minister,Datuk Seri Hj. Mohd. Ali bin Mohd. Rustam. I feel its just the right term to declare him as Melaka Father Of Moderation or Bapa Pemodenan Melaka.If it was not for him, Melaka would not be as it is today. Lets all support him in whatever he undertakes for the goodness of Melaka.
