Ronda-Ronda: Melaka Tropical Fruit Farm



The Melaka Tropical Fruit Farm is a must-visit destination for visitors who want to be closed to Nature and to feel rejunevated from the hustle and bustle of city life. Located in Sungai Udang about 20 km from the Historical City of Melaka, the Tropical Fruit Farm is easily accessible from Alor Gajah, Masjid Tanah and from Ayer Keroh.


Formerly known as the Sungai Udang Agro Park, the Melaka Tropical Fruit Farm is indeed a perfect place to unwind and become one with nature.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience for themselves the cool and serene surroundings at the farm, apart from having the opportunity to savour fresh tropical fruits like the durian, langsat, duku, rambutan, banana, ciku, pineapple, mangoesteen and others.

Visitors will also be able to learn more about these fruit trees, which many may not have seen before.

One of the main attractions at the farm is definately the mini zoo, where visitors, especially children, will get the opportunity to interact and learn more about animals like the camels, ostriches, goats, rabbits, freshwater fishes, monkeys and others.

Apart from these attractions, accommodations are also available for those wanting to spend the night at the farm. Several chalets, a hostel and camp site are available.

Facilities provided at the Fruit Farm includes Chalets at RM 70.00/night, Hostel (Max 250 pax), Conference Room (Max 300 pax, setup upon request), Camping Site (Max. 200 pax), Bicycle at RM 3.00/hour, Pond for fishing (RM10/hour/rod), Canoeing (RM10/hourr/canoe), Tug of War (upon request), Tourist Guide for group (prior request), Jungle Tracking, Musollah, children playground and many more.

Packages include resident seminar package, half-day seminar package, family day/meeting/student packages.


The Monkey School


The latest attraction in Melaka Tropical Fuit Farm are the monkey. These monkey are no ordinary monkey because they go to the monkey school whereby they will learn to pluck fruits such as coconut systematically from a real tree. For those who want to see and know how the monkey pluck the fruits based on the instruction of their instructor, you may come to the Melaka Tropical Fruit Farm. 

Schedule for monkey show:
Weekdays : Tuesday & Friday : 2 pm-4 pm
Weekends : Saturday & Sunday : 10 am -12 pm, 2 pm – 4 pm
