Museum: DMDI Museum



DMDI Museum (also known as Malay World Islamic World Museum or Muzium Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam) is housed in Bastion House located along Jalan Kota. Bastion House was built during the British era for the officers and administrators based in Melaka.


DMDI Museum has become a reference point on issues related to the Malay communities  in the whole archipelago region, in terms of their socio-economic status. DMDI Museum also exhibits various artifacts from the neighbouring Islamic countries.

Admission Fee:
Adult – RM2.00
Children below the age of 12 – RM1.00
