Event: Melaka International Tourism Show (MITS) 2010

I went to Melaka International Trade Centre, MITC this afternoon which is located in MITC City, Hang Tuah Jaya to see and experience the Melaka International Tourism Show for this year, 2010, MITS. MITS 2010 succeed to bring and apply the green concept introduced by the Melaka Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam, DAR who want to make Malacca as the first developed green technology state in Malaysia and at the same time this event objective is want to attract and create awareness of Malaccan and tourists from all over the world about the importance of green tourism and nature preservation. 

The event starts from today, 3rd December until 5th December 2010 from 10 am until 10 pm. There are many activities for visitors and exhibitors such as business matching, promotion, sales, quizzes, exhibition and so on. Let's take a look on the event pictures.

Entrance to Melaka 12-Subsectors of Melaka Tourism which are Health Tourism, Makan-Makan (Dining), Education, Recreation, Sports, History, Culture, Agro Tourism, Malacca My 2nd Home, Convention (MICE), Youth Tourism and Shopping. There are many brochures, flyers, posters and promotional tools in the pavilion for visitors.

Melaka Kad, a new prepaid card for tourists and local people who want to enter and pay the tourist attractions in Melaka. This card will be officially launched in January 2011. You may use the card for internet payment, tolls, and kiosk. Cool rite?
